After watching the replay on Facebook from a different angle, I understand "the call." While the views we saw on TV showed Bryant in an obvious charge, the official behind Bryant had a different view. Swanigan was moving laterally with Bryant. While that is legal, if he in any way moves into Bryant, that by definition is a block. Neither official would give an inch because they saw, obvious to them, what they saw -- very differently. Not defending the call of the double foul, but I do understand why it wasn't an "automatic" charging call.

Incidentally after watching both angles, I would have called it on Bryant.

Rojo has lost all confidence and it shows. Our frosh guards were awful. We get Biggie to 4 fouls then stop attacking him? The refs were terrible. McRoberts and McSwain played hard. Turned them over, but could never capitalize. Unless we make a miracle run in the B1G tourney, we are NIT bound...and deservingly so. #bummed Go Hoosiers!

Biggie got his monies worth. There were at least 4-5 times he made a move by hooking his defender or swinging through with an elbow. 10 years ago that was the norm but in recent years they've called it. I'm not sure what the refs were watching last night though.

It doesn't matter though. Pu played that way in their B1G losses this season. We were just too dumb to capitalize on it for the win.
