Some coaches treat off season violations different than during the season ones. Don't know if there is any precedent with Coach Allen. Not to downplay it because it was just a stupid thing to do, but it's not a real major incident. But also to your first point we haven't even seen what Patrick can do. Technically it has been all talk. Yes he had a couple of TDs and one was an amazing catch, but we really don't know what he can truly do at RB. Yes he was leading the group last year, but still we have no true game tape at RB. I think the kid is gonna have a HUGE year if he ends up with the majority of the carries. With the wideouts we got and the line along with HOPEFULLY an improved qb. Yes and he had one of the highest scores in the nation when it comes to the Nike scores or whatever it is. sparq score maybe? But a lot of the analysts say he's a steal maybe not this year but in the years to come. He already has size and speed. Analysts agree he probably should have had a higher ranking but her missed two years of football due to broken legs. Quote
