If by "use him like Ben Wallace" you mean use a guy with no offensive game, who is a bad free throw shooter, and has cool hair, then yes! Of course, I have two of those three things going for me, so if I only had better hair....

Freddie is still very raw. I wish we had gotten him as a Freshmen. I am not sure he has enough time to develop like Vic or Troy.

McSwain is an athlete, not a basketball player. I think CTC envisioned him as Troy in his ability to potentially run the baseline like Williams did. However, it's clear Freddie lacks basketball IQ and court awareness. I'm not particularly sold on him as a defender either. Thankfully, it's early in the season and he still has plenty of time to develop this year and next year.
