  1. That's incredible. I found myself lol.
  2. That's kinda how I feel. Looking at the players' and former players' reactions on Twitter I've gotten the vibe that Wilson got screwed over by Glass. The troublemakers are the ones speaking out against Wilson while the guys who are/were model student athletes are in his corner. It seems like Glass wanted to make a move and is using this as an excuse because he knows he can't fire a guy who has brought IU to back-to-back bowl games for performance. It's like what people say about relationships.. If a person starts a relationship with you by cheating on their current SO, why would you think they won't do the same thing to you down the road? That'd be in the back of my head if I was Tom Allen.
  3. His article today was a total hack job. Just blatantly misleading. http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/columnists/gregg-doyel/2016/12/01/doyel-kevin-wilson-gone-but-what-pushed-him-out/94756854/
  4. The msm is crap. I'm glad our guys are going after him.
  5. I'm in the minority but I wish we would've at least made a push for Strong or Miles. Maybe we did and there was no interest on their end. Regardless, it looks like we're in good hands and we'll keep the momentum going.
  6. Man, this really doesn't seem like the players disliked him. Check out Tony Bennett's Twitter.
  7. Yeah that's true. They better not be afraid to open up the check book, that's really my only feeling on it. We finally have some momentum as a program. The wrong hire will wreck all of that and put us back at square one. I was almost positive he had taken another job when a friend had text me saying he was out. This is crazy.
  8. Ugh this is bs. 2 steps forward, 3 miles back. His playcalling drove me crazy all year but you can fix that. We're not going to find a better coach to replace him. Better really enjoy this year's bowl game, it might be awhile before we're back again.
  9. I want to see Crean go ballistic on the refs just once. These guys have been hot garbage.
  10. The place would go absolutely insane if he actually showed up tomorrow night.
  11. A win will get people back off the ledge at least. If we get blown out though... I'd hate to be a mod that night.
  12. I don't really feel at liberty to say, other posters might, but basically it's different from the story in the media and it would likely change your opinion of the situation.
  13. I wish more people knew the real story because it provides another really important life lesson.
  14. "I’ve had a lot of concussions in my career, a lot of which were in high school." Man I would've hung it up a long time ago if I was in that situation. I get the love of the game and everything, but my brain's one thing I wouldn't put at risk. It's just not worth having your brain turn to mush in your 40s like some of the former players we see.
  15. That's true, I didn't think about that. Running the wildcat is gonna take a toll on ya when you're 174 pounds.
  16. Good for him for focusing on his long-term health, but it seems kinda late to start worrying about concussions.. He only had 1 season left. He's probably been playing for 10+ years.. Regardless, best of luck Zander. We weren't always thrilled with the results, but we never doubted that you gave everything you had every time you stepped onto the field.
  17. When you don't do any of the work for the group project but wind up with an A anyway.
  18. How many more times are we going to throw screen passes on 3rd and long before we realize they don't work?
  19. Because he was getting bodied in the paint by a bunch of scrubs whenever he did get the ball. Feeding him doesn't do any good when they keep throwing the ball back into his face when he goes up.
  20. We got the result we deserved.
  21. Bryant needs to get mean and stop getting bodied down low.
  22. Well obviously, but I wanted to look for a silver lining instead of joining the "the sky is falling" crowd. There are worse things in the world than getting humbled by a far inferior opponent. We're a good team and we're going to have a good season. I just think our guys were flying high after the Kansas game and this should bring them back down to earth and remind them of the mission at hand.
