    Duke doesn't have to pay players. Recruits would turn down money offered by other schools all for the prestige of playing for Coach K and that storied program.

    Because I work for a huge company with plants in South Bend and there's an IT request to add a new user for someone named Damezi Anderson at a plant 2 miles away from Riley HS. Probably just a weird coincidence, but I haven't been that tuned in this summer so I was just making sure I didn't miss news he left or something.

    Nice, I like adding a kid who is definitely on the rise. Does this mean we can't take Cross now? Pretty sure we can, don't think they play the same position. I honestly haven't been following this guy's recruitment that much, but I've like what I have read and seen.

    Dakich's tweet probably has something to do with Knight visiting IU in an official capacity. Maybe Hoosier Hysteria or something like that. Just a guess of course.

    Everything I've read is that Davis is getting beaten badly in practice. It doesn't sound like he'll start.

    I really hope things get serious between us and Garcia, I'd love to add him. Especially since Furst will probably go to Purdue in the 2021 class, so this kid as a sophomore would be huge.

    Someone on the Rivals site said he's been fully scrimmaging with the team.

    Been in the works for a while now. Lot of people at Marian are glad he's gone too. Don't be surprised to see him de-commit from Purdue eventually. Word going around is that he thinks he committed too early.

    Syracuse was the matchup I feared most that tournament. Michael Carter-Williams was a nightmare for us, 6'6" PG that was better than a freshman Yogi and a banged-up Hulls. That team had a Hall of Fame coach who had decades to recruit to his system, and they went on to the Final 4.

    I thought 6 schools were supposed to receive their notice of allegations by the end of June. Looks like NC State is the first to get theirs. My guess is USC, Auburn, and OK State are next. They won't go after the big guys.

    I'd love that, he'd be a great recruiter for IU.

    Someone on this board or another called this a while ago, and said it would be addition by subtraction. I don't know what to think, but more inclined to see this as a negative. He had great ties around the state, but if he couldn't get along with the staff or whatever, then maybe this outcome is best. Assistant coaches are probably overrated anyway.

    I like this kid, and would personally take him over Leal I think. He's a rising prospect who is supposedly a good defensive player, which is something we always seem to need. Can we get the top flight kids to go along with him? That would make me like Galloway even more.

    My guess is the list of 6 schools to be named will not be a very sexy list: Creighton NC State USC South Carolina Auburn Oklahoma State Then they'll take the rest of the summer to decide if they want to punish Arizona, Louisville, and Kansas. No way they touch Duke, they're way too chickensh1t.

    It would be hilarious if Blackshear goes to UK. They'll be good no matter what, but the thought of Brooks having to compete that much more for playing time makes me smile. Seriously, he'd have a guaranteed starting spot right now at IU.

    Damn, Morton dropped like a rock. Would be nice if we grabbed the better player in RJ Davis.

    Was there a poll? I think Memphis ends up a higher seed but not by much. Memphis - 7 seed IU - 9 seed

    He made such a terrible decision. Hope he enjoys getting 12 mpg.

    At first his comments about the NBA bothered me, but then I realized that I chose IU because I felt it prepared me the best for the professional level too. You can aspire to be an NBA player, and still invest in the team and program.

    So Archie handed out scholarships to two 2020 shooting guards today, I wonder if he thinks Quinones won't happen? Probably over thinking it, we'll need shooters regardless of Quinones.

    Maybe it's because of so many past recruiting battles lost, but I'm getting the overwhelming feeling we're about to lose 2 guys to freakin' Memphis. This feels like Darius Garland/Goodluck Okonoboh/Bruce Brown/Devin Robinson/Tremont Waters/Billy Preston/etc.
