Never seen this before. Fascinating. I was probably 23 when this came out and it was obviously monstrous. Quintessential 80’s throwaway pop. Energy, vigor, kind of surface. Gave it very little thought, as 23 yo’s tend to do. Now I see this almost 40 years later. The miles on both the artists and the song. It’s matured in a way that we probably all hope we do as people. Depth, perspective, bit of melancholy but still with a certain hopefulness. Bravo, guys, hell of a job.

Just out of curiosity, what constitutes substance on a message board? For example, people coming to a thread to express their feelings about an issue to which that thread is dedicated, how does that rate on the substance scale? Or does one have to have new information (substance) to post in the thread? Are mere feels, musings, etc. frowned upon? If someone posts, "I hope we get news on Mullins commitment soon," is that substantive enough to not be frowned upon?

After saying I wouldn’t get caught up in the recruitment of a 17-18 year old I have now failed to avoid paying attention approximately 121 times (and counting). Will I ever learn? Evidence says no.

For sure! Although, you writing a substantive paragraph describing how Woody has adapted to improve both roster construction and Hoosier Hysteria, and then concluding that therefore he should be fired… is kind of odd.
