Football players have always had a complex at IU. Of course they want to fight bball players, the bball players get all of the attention. And no one even even gives a Fuchs about this kid. 

Did this thought deserve a new thread?  Are there not enough threads to put this in?  I feel like as mods we are lenient, but the same schtick pissing off both sides of the argument is starting to piss us off.  We understand you don't like Crean or Glass.  We get it.  Some of us mods don't even like Crean.  That is not the point of this.  The constant trolling is going to stop.  

I think Hanner's arrest is 10x worse than Yogi and Stans. So, if I base their punishment off Hanner's punishment, they should be benched for 10 minutes of the first game. (Hanner benched 100 minutes total). Wow... That should teach them!! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Ok, I have been responding to numerous people about something at this point I think is pretty insignificant and is just getting blown up.  We had a poster sign up as Hoosier Hoopster.  Apparently he was vague in a post and people took that back to 247 and told the powers that be that someone signed up here and was saying he was him.  We got emails from CC asking us to have him change his name.  Nothing wrong with him asking us, since they were being told that.  We as mods looked through his posts and never found a post with him claiming he was HoosierHoopster from 247 (formerly HSN V1.0, formerly Scout).      We responded to them we didn't think it was needed because he had never said that.  Every site has someone with that name.  Hell, we thought someone at 247 had tried signing up with a variation of that name when we were there.  It is common.  Tonight has kind of blown up and we kind of realized why they thought that.  Now, many of you taking issue with how we handle this have known us for years.  You know how we are as mods.  We feel he is trolling you for a response.  The same as some of you troll the negative posters for response.  We have warned this poster and will take action if we need to.  But, as many of you who have known us for years know we try and give posters on both sides of this equation a chance.     I will leave this up here for a time so any of you have a question or concern about this situation you can post here.  I was getting PMs, quoted, and all sorts of craziness.  I just couldn't keep up.  I don't want to see posters who add something get banned over something as stupid as this.  If I have to post a picture of Jaybob flexing to break the ice I will lol.    

Somebody mentioned this site on 247 and I came over to check it out. I don't post much but it sure is fun to read!

This kid seems talented, but I'm not a big fan of once again adding 6 freshmen. I'm still holding out hope Crean can add a suitable transfer with that last scholarship.

Thank you for clearing the air and your diligence and fairness. I never claimed to be anyone from the Indiana 247 site. Or any 247 site for that matter. I agree that this whole matter has gotten blown up way out of hand. I am not a troll. I am a fan and was a student. I am not a fan of Crean, that is for sure. But I get, some of you want me to tone it down a bit. You have my word that I will.

  You are answering you own questions.  No it didn't deserve a new thread, it easily fits under at least one existing thread.  It is a troll spamming his agenda over and over.  It isn't going to end until...well..you know.

Rankings aren't the be all end all, those recruiting experts do make mistakes.  The simply can't watch all those prospects enough to say who is the 58th best and who is the 120th, it's why some players like Vic and Will do fly under the radar although both did have decent offers aside from ours.  Generally speaking though, those unranked 2*s just aren't that good.

I'd put money that a lot of those kid's parents would and could pay for lawyers for them. It's just not worth it, you're going to get a diverted sentence and pay less than your lawyer would cost you, and your lawyer wasn't going to get you off. The only advantage is you don't have to stand in line.   And I say that as a lawyer. Actually, on second thought they should all hire lawyers, it's a rough market out there and young grads could use the work.
