Feel like Sales could be WR1 from day 1. Likely going to lose both Marsh and Becker to the draft after this season. Sales fills an immediate need. I think it's really tough for a true freshman to start on the interior line, let alone make an immediate impact.

Totally agree on Brewster...if i had to pick between him and Sales..as far as immediatte impact..I would take Brewster.

NW and SE (above me, now) are what I was thinking too. I seem to kind of remember the top of the SE section being unavailable last time I saw a live seat map. Some student section seats used to be over there. But also a week from today they're dropping mini-season packages. I have no clue where all these seats are coming from.

Yea. If I had to guess it may be across the top of the north side of the west stand. Tbd. I’m not quite sure what student tickets cost — $20-30 per game I think. I’m surprised IU didn’t sell these at 2x+ the price to alumns. I thought there was a waiting list for season tickets. IU AD is always a bit of a mystery to me. But, I am in favor of students getting some priority… you only get four years and big games are fun.

In this interview, he does say he is going on vacation in a couple of days while the Eisen interview he said the next day I think.

OH YEAH? Well @Class of '66 Old Fart has been following IU Basketball since Branch McCracken was in diapers and HE thinks that Mike Woodson was always a poopy-@$$ coach and the IU fanbase is jus' ducky, so THERE! (OF - you are welcome for me making you look... wise).

Mike Woodson had more of a chance than any other college program would've given him. This thread also isn't about Mike Woodson.

Woodson didn't get a fair shake? What are you smoking? He was a legendary here as a player, and had good connections to the league. People had been clamoring for an "IU guy" for years... Woodson was his own worst enemy. He had no clue what he was getting into, and despite the help that Dolson set up for him, he cast that off. His HS recruiting was non-existent. He was lazy and preferred to play golf in the recruiting season rather than build relationships with potential recruits. What happened to Mike Woodson was 100% the fault of Mike Woodson. He had IU connections and saw himself as the conquering hero, connected to the money within the IU fanbase. He had a chance to do something significant here, but instead, chose to screw the pooch. But no one can say that he wasn't given a fair shake. Moving on, as this is not the thread for a MMW discussion.

I think they have a 15 day window to enter the portal now that the coach has been named. Could be mistaken. Also could be mistaken, but pretty sure the players are all on campus already so I'd be a little surprised if any of them end up leaving. Seems worth a shot though.

With Boynton "officially" named interim, what does that do to the transfer window for UM players? With a named interim coach, it looks like there won't be an immediate search for a permanent replacement for May... so can the players transfer "free of charge" now or not?

I've been following IU basketball and college basketball in general longer than you've been alive. I don't need your input on what constitutes a good basketball coach. He lost the fan base after year 2 and when you lose the fan base here, you're done. Oh well, onto another cycle of toxicity. It's what we do.
