  1. Past hour
  2. The TE position is still pretty befuddling to me.
  3. I mean going from Conerway/Enright to Burton at PG is like a night and day upgrade.
  4. Yup. Not my kind of player at all but he’s gotten a lot of work done against P4 competition and if he’s the guy they want I want them to have him.
  5. What are the possibilities we get a commit today? Hope we build a roster that is ready to compete day 1.
  6. Burton before injury in consecutive games vs Rutgers, Kansas, Houston, and Missouri... 21p 5r 5a 2s eFG% 54 (he did not shoot well from 3 in those games) SO year conference avgs-- 24p 3a 3r-- 40%3pt he's an excellent FT shooter (and gets to the line a lot)-- he's had some TO issues
  7. Also, just need him to be healthy.
  8. 8-24 two years ago, maximum toxicity surrounding the program and embattled coach. Hire the right guy and win big in two years. AD who made the hire is/was running an athletic department embroiled in scandal after scandal. Some will still tell you our fans/brass are the problem.
  9. Don’t forget Rick Pitino and Calipari who flamed out and came back to college to win a title at different schools. Somehow I like those examples the best. :{
  10. Basically, he’s a score-first PG. I do think he’s a pretty good passer though, so the question is if he’s a willing one. I can buy that a good coach can coach that into him. Or maybe he naturally loves to pass-first but has taken on a more score-first disposition because ND’s been so bad. One final thing is he’s a possibly a mediocre 3pt shooter. If you want to throw a bunch of 3 pt shooters out there and play “modern basketball “ and have an athletic shot blocking center like Fru, does that take a another poor 3pt shooter like Harrelson off the board? Burton had solid numbers from 3 his soph season so maybe that’s who the staff thinks he really is. Take those questions in the context of overall I think you definitely take him if he’s coming here for a fair price (whatever that is). There were plenty of questions about Cadeau’s game last year that all seemed to fade away once he found the right coach and supporting cast.
  11. She was good enough to play 12MPG on a 29-6 LSU team
  12. This is somehow worse than being a reversible jacket fan…
  13. At some point in his career so were: RMK Billy Donovan Coach K Brad Stevens Tom Izzo In other words, Dusty May has every option at his disposal and command, and knows whether he has the itch to coach in the NBA or to be a college lifer. We don't know but will find out over the next few years.
  14. Position of need? Is there a position we don't need?
  15. Today
  16. The irony of it all, is we had our own Brad Stevens.
  17. Congratulations IU basketball. It was so easy. Right in front of you. 2026 National championship sniffers.
  18. Recruiting. People here called Woody lazy but he was just doing what he’d done in the nba for decades: coach during the season and then enjoy his offseason. Dusty May won the title and 15 minutes later the portal opened. He doesn’t even get to get drunk and celebrate if he wants to be working at…right about now…like all the other coaches.
  19. In an alternate timeline Woodson is fired a year earlier, IU hires Dusty May, IU proceeds to miss the tournament in his first 2 years, and the "fire Dusty May" thread is popping.
  20. I'll never forgive Quinn Buckner.
  21. God that shot should've gone in.

  23. Had opportunities during the last game to do that.
  24. But i still bet dusy is at michigan next year with a big fat raise and now will make more than the iu coach.
  25. I think we just saw what it takes to win a title and its big time athletes now i am sure coaching is involved but man you need these athletes
