The addition is coming along nicely. After the SEZ expansion, it's time to get that press box updated.

Both Virginia Tech and Wake Forest have the same stadium as us, at least in its original form. VT has since expanded, but both give an idea of what the stadium would look like with a better press box. Both stadiums also have their press boxes above the shorter sideline, so to mimic the model IU would have to move its press box to the other side of the stadium.

I like Va Tech's press box and suites much better than Wake Forest.  I would love for Memorial Stadium to mimic that look.

Yep that’s in the long-term plans. Fred has mentioned it a couple of times. What I suspect might happen is that they will build some suites along the top of the east side, and then overhaul the current press box which would give the media more space after some of the other stuff moved out. Although we could do what Virginia Tech did and just build around it on both sides.

Cool to see the mascots through the years but also kind of sad that not only did our teams stink but so did the mascots.

if I saw one of those creepy mascots with the IU cowboy hats in my neighborhood I would call the police.
