I think money dried up and didn’t want to overspend on Federiko2x or Baba Miller. -

Fair enough. And Pretty much agree. But I’ve lowered my expectations based on the roster we’ve put together. As it seems much of the fanbase has, particularly at BTBanners. That’s fine and all, but with NIL opportunities I’m not sure we should be. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app -
Staff in place. Seems like a good staff but ultimately you are judged on the results. Curious to see what kind of team they piece together for the following year and the emphasis on HS vs Portal. Hoping we can land some of these top end guys.

I heard 13 scholarships and 2 walk-ons... on the roster. Is this counting Leal and Goode before they hatch? because he discussed the waiver thing before. Anyway, they must be very confident to be talking about it the way they are. -

My guy AJ. He told me at tailgate one time “ you give me food, I’ll give you highlights”. I did, and he did as well. Lol. I wonder how often he used that line. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

To each their own. I’m setting the standard of making the tournament this season which is a low bar considering the NIL available. If we make the tournament I’ll be pleased enough personally, but the program needs some bigger successes to hang its hat on. I’ve spotted roster deficiencies in the past and have been right about them for years. To me, this roster is underwhelming. That doesn’t matter, results will. I think the effort and flow on offense will be immediately improved. I think the mid major all star team is fascinating. Lots of questions will be answered this season. Ouch, this hurts. Huge for Dusty May. Kid is good.

Didn’t make Rothstein’s top 45. This roster construction is polarizing. Hoping we can be the “surprise” team this year. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners -
All similarly ranked teams. Just feeling out your confidence on our roster and coach. We probably should be ranked above both of them by a fair margin by seasons end in NIL expectations. On paper we are near equals to start. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

Can’t wait to see it in action. Hope the doubters and I get proven wrong straight away. Also hope we are securing NIL investments to stay on our rung of the ladder or advance a bit. I absolutely love Football being elite and want that to stay and I’m curious if we can straddle both sports. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

Not at all, it’s case dependent. I think the margin for error is much bigger for the mid major kids. P5 kids, you see it against like talent. I like the mid major gamble on some kids. I LOVED Knecht that off-season. I love Wilkerson this off-season. (I like Reed a lot). A couple others as well. However a roster full of them that haven’t been in it, to me is a big gamble. Not that it can’t work. It very well could. I feel like the gamble is bigger than a school like Indiana with our Nil budget should risk. I don’t rate Indiana and Maryland as equal Jobs. My expectations for us are higher than what they would be if I was a Maryland fan. In the end for me everything is measured against expectations. Who do you think finishes the season ranked higher, Indiana or NC State? Genuine question. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

It’s the culmination of the moves he’s made in short time. Not this move individually. But attacking my lukewarm Indiana basketball takes is en vogue. I’m hoping for a Cig like surprise from our roster this fall so we can all celebrate victories together.

I rather enjoy the Panthers. Gritty, tough team. A real hockey team. Florida Edmonton will be a fun finals. Clash of styles. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners
