Connor Cook's dad (IUFB alum) seems cool...

WHO CARES? This wimpy PC culture makes me sick. Did Connor say any of it? Somebody got a steal and I hope Connor makes the teams that passed pay in the future.

The people who are about to invest tens of millions of dollars care. In my opinion, they are placing way too much stock in his father's beliefs and attitude, but this is certainly something I'd flag if I were a GM.

Agree though, the Raiders are the big winners here. What a steal for a really talented QB.

They wouldn't care if Conner had a grade A personality and was a transcendent leader for his teammates. But when you take the questions floating around about him and throw in a dickhead dad, well maybe like father like son.

I know Conner Cook. He is not a bad guy, but he's not a guy I'd want as my franchise QB, just my opinion. Seems a lot of the NFL felt the same way.

The NFL cares. His dad was taken into consideration. It also reflects poorly on Connor because he apparently was disliked by his teammates at MSU.

Also, I'm getting pretty tired of people going off on offensive rants and then whining about PC culture. You have the right to say whatever you want, but people are allowed to fire back, and it may have consequences. The only thing the first amendment protects is the government coming after you for (reasonably) speaking your mind.

I mean, look at these. If you're going to put this out there, people are allowed to respond. If you post on social media, don't whine about PC when people respond. You don't think this stuff catches the eyes of scouts?...
