Naturalhoosier Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Certainly a missed opportunity IMHO. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners indianato, HoosierAloha and IUsafety 3 Quote
LIHoosier Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 If they're gonna copy the Assembly Hall floor, just paint the turf to look like hardwood. Sent from my SM-G920V using BtownBanners mobile app Naturalhoosier 1 Quote
Berghoosier Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Just dawned on me why a candy striped endzone could probably never happen. You can't have anything white (or cream) bordering the goal line, end line or sideline. I guess you would have to use a buffer color around the edges, but then it really wouldn't be "candy stripe". Personally I don't like aesthetics of the endzone pattern/fill color not filling out the entire endzone. So I guess I'd prefer to have it the way it is (or will be shortly) rather than a candy striped endzone in the "Tennessee design" Quote

I do like the script, but it looks good on the windows (and hopefully on the SEZ windows too) so I'm fine with the new font. It looks classy but not too plain, and really as long as the field is thicker and brighter it's all good. Berghoosier 1 Quote

akhosrof Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Looks great! We desperately needed it. The old turf looked terrible on our nationally televised games against OSU and Michigan. On a side note I cannot wait for the south end enclosure. I'm always amazed how gorgeous the north end looks, tying in the south end will make the stadium look very nice. HoosierAloha Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 The new turf looks sharp! Hopefully IU racks up a lot of wins on it. Agreed with the poster above that the SEZ project will make the stadium look even better. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Naturalhoosier, RBB89 and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote
