X-Hoosier Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Not that I'm aware of :) Not usually. Though I think Minnesota had a girl leave after her Sophomore like a year or two ago. My parents were at the game today. Said it was a lot of fun. Now they're just trying to get through the snow. Go Hoosiers! mamasa 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Only a soph, women don't leave early for the WNBA do they? The WNBA prefers finished products, or players who have proven they can dominate other college players on the biggest stages. In other words, the complete opposite of the NBA. JaybobHoosier Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Great job ladies, and hometown girl Tyra keeps doing her thing. Quote
Defenserocks28 Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 That and no one's giving up a free education in order to make maybe $50K a year. I was about to post the same thing. Beat me to it. Diana Taurasi was the highest paid WNBA player in 2014 at 107k. I believe she's playing in Russia now, rather than the WNBA, to make more money. Looks like the average league salary has gone up to 75k per year. Rookies though, average about 35k per year. So yeah, better for Buss to get that college degree. https://sports.vice.com/en_us/article/basketballs-gender-wage-gap-is-even-worse-than-you-think https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=wnba%20rookie%20salary ccgeneral and LIHoosier 2 Quote
