Who has seen the new hit. Making a murderer. I'm on episode 5 right now. And man it makes me wish I went to law school. I'm just curious what's everyone's thoughts. Not trying to start a war on here. But I am curious with what's going and everyone having an opinion of course. Im currently writing down things and making my own conclusion. Lol

Why does it make you wish you went to law school?

Well one I took the LSAT did well. I love the investigative side of it and I don't mind arguing standing my ground. Love to read. And mainly just because I interned for 4 summers at a top law firm in indy and loved it. However having graduated in May, after a long senior year I just felt I would be burned out and end up not finishing. Now I don't know. Lol still looking into it however.

I have no desire to watch that one.  I had to read and hear about it for a couple of years in the local newspapers, and on all the news programs.

I am amazed that so many people are taking the time to contact the State of Wisconsin on Avery's innocence simply by watching a documentary that is proud to say they are only showing one side of the case.

Oh I've read the papers and articles as well which is why I chose to watch it. And yes I'd agree it is extremely one sided. However I'd still just urge you to check it out. Thinking isn't that overrated along with having opinions on items.

My mom got her law degree from the IU School of Law and she rarely uses for the job she has. She did say that it helps to have it.

Off topic but just some advice I've always received. You rarely hear people regret the things they went for, but always regret the things they didn't. Go for it man.

I'm on episode 6 right now and I can't stop watching. Some of the things that I have seen make me want to pull my hair out, and I say this as a law enforcement officer. But as I know there are two sides to every story, so after I watch this series I will do some research and post my final thoughts on this compelling case.

I'll try and grit my teeth.   This thing has been in the local newspaper ( and yes I am old and crotchety enough to still get and read a daily newspaper!) so much, that I almost feel like I have seen it already, though.  :)

There are so many things left out you can find online. The show angers me but still a good watch i guess.

No I know what you mean. I usually watch things right away with documentaries just because I love them. But I hadn't yet with this and started reading it and looking online for documents from the trial dates. So on Monday night I gave in and "on the film side of things" it is a well done documentary.

I know it's one sided, but from watching how he was convicted of sexual assault (I haven't watched it all), there were some glaring mistakes around the entire case. I will have to see the entire series before I can have an opinion as to whether he's innocent. One thing that I asked as soon as he was arrested for the murder; what was his motive (if he in fact did it) for killing her?
