Analysis: A few things we learned about IU in Saturday's 80-73 win over Notre Dame

I agree completely with the observation of OG's contribution to the win.He seems to have a warriors mentality and a nose for the ball, not to mention the Big Ten ready body ti back it up.His minutes should pick up as we get into the meat of the conference schedule.

He still doesn't seem to me like he has found his way. Only getting extra minutes will help that and I think he can be a contributor. He just doesn't seem completely confident when he's out there.

I, for one, really appreciate your analysis. The board is better with your thoughts.

I appreciate that. I need to do more of it, too. I've been a little crazy with book sales lately and haven't been around here as much as I should. So it sounds like I have a New Year's resolution forming here. But thanks for your kind words. I appreciate it. I think this is a great IU basketball forum.

Agreed. Still seems like the game is going a little too fast for him. Nothing will fix that but more minutes, albeit there may be a few ugly moments.

Hutch what were your thoughts on Troy taking the point under 2 on 2 out of 3 possessions with the game tied as much as he struggled? I know in the crowd every person wanted the ball in Yogi or Robs hands. There were a bunch of people saying no, no, no in the crowd. Myself included. It seemed to make us easier to guard in that situation. I will say on the 2nd trip he got bailed out but still didn't like that feel of a last possession of game feel. Thoughts?
