No one cares if you say "former Marian University football player arrested for armed robbery." When you put "former IU football player" you're gonna get more clicks. 

I know, that's why I find it annoying. The IndyStar does it to get more clicks but it also makes IU look bad even though he has been part of other programs.

For whatever reason, I don't think the Star has much of a problem with making IU look bad.
