I said admittedly regrettable words. I know it wasn't, but it looked like an intentional phantom call. It was THAT bad. Completely ruined our chances.

  

In the replay, Troy Williams foot was in the lane before the shot. He didnt stand behind the line. It was boneheadish on his part. Correct call. We didnt lose because of officiating. We lost because our only good defender is 5"11 and had to guard their 6"5 stud who can post up. Do the math.

Yeah, I'm sure it wasn't blown on purpose. Like I said, I just finished watching and was very upset. I mean, this guy made me spill my beer and everything. Now that I've had a chance to calm, I just want to say what a great game E. Holt played. Thank you so much for playing your ass off tonight. Made me proud.

Holt is playing like a man. He is certainly a bright spot. Played like a Hoosier of tourneys past.

Blackman doesn't do well with physical guards, lets get him toughened up and 10 more pounds or so please.

Z played too many minutes, if we aren't getting stops and he isn't shooting then he isn't helping much. really like his heart but he is a liability when he isn't bombs away.

Really wasn't disappointed in this game, well except for the outcome. This team is pretty good at 3 point shooting, but relies way to heavily on it. They battled pretty well. I just hate to watch players over and over try to make something happen that's all one on one, and outside the flow of the game. Even if they get a shot off, its essentially a turnover. Which is why I cringe anytime Stan comes in the game. I seen nothing that would have me blaming officiating for this one. Poor shooting down the stretch. Overall, IU kept it close, but I felt the whole game like Maryland was the better team. Absolutely love seeing Holt tear it up. Kid is a warrior on the hardwood.

Just watched the game again and it is annoying how many calls Trimble gets... he starts driving to the basket and the refs are blowing the whistle.

 

Good overall effort and we just needed to hit a few more shots down the stretch. I hope we did enough to get in...

Trimble sells the calls very well. He initiates the contact, he dislodges the defensive player. It will catch up with him. I like his aggressive desire to get to the rim, but what I can't stand is that getting to the rim isn't his goal....it's just to get a call. Sack up and play.

Just finished watching the game. The officiating sucked in the first, but felt it was even in the 2nd. Even though Yogi forced, he was getting fouled just as much as Melo, but nothing was called.

I feel forced shots and lack of offensive scheme is what did us in. We played good enough, but Maryland played better. Hugh props to Holt for his inspiring play. Great job young man!
