North central and kris Wilkes lost to Ben Davis in 2nd game. I was going to update during the game but Southport gym is a dead zone for internet phone service. Very impressed with connersville crowd. 3/4 of the gym was full of connersville fans and Southport is top 10 in the nation in capacity.

Go Wolf Pack! I live about two miles from the school.I hear the band during football games and hear the cannon when they score.Pretty cool.

That cannon doesn't go off much haha. We were pretty average when I played there and then I was a coach there for 3 years. Our staff maximized what we had, but hard to win ball games on Friday nights when you don't see the majority of your kids from May to August. Was one of my deciding factors in leaving. Was tired of fighting the same battles year after year. Community is absolutely in LOVE with basketball and it shows as evident here, but I wasn't willing to sit around and wait for that to finally show up with football. Plus wanting to be a HC some day soon I had to get away from "home" as a coach anyways to grow.

Went to a couple of games.Great atmosphere,good food but pretty bad football.Yeah the cannon freaks me out when I hear it because its pretty rare and I'm fairly close.
