I missed the final shot due to a fire alarm at the Holiday Inn in Shively, Ky. I was watching it at the firehouse with some pUKe fans. We made it to the hotel. I started looking for an activated smoke detector. My wife called and I answered it. She is screaming bloody murder. I am like what is wrong with you. "IU hit a buzzer beater to win." I then shit my pants. I make my way to the bar which is full of UofL fans cheering like they had just won a national title. My Captain wouldn't talk to me the rest of the day.

This is a great thread-----and a tribute to one of the best wins ever in IU history!

 

But---I have to admit----when I first started reading it-----I was trying to figure out what I did wrong to pick up an old thread again.

 

The last time I was this confused was when I was trying to learn how to use the "quote function" on this site!  :lol:
