RPI & SOS

Said what? I have no idea what you're talking about. No one said there was a wrong way to eat a pizza? I said it, I'm someone.

I quoted you and said it with the implication you were eating in a wrong way. If I drank a hoppy stout and said "I wasn't convinced that a stout could taste like an IPA" would you tell me that no one said that a stout could taste like an IPA? Or would you understand that to mean "This stout tastes like an IPA and I find that surprising"?

You quoted me and I took it as you were implying that I was saying he was wrong.

Higher wins against the likes of Savannah State and New Orleans does nothing but lower
RPI. Top programs aren't sitting on a RPI of 140 and SOS of 220. Will cost them since they will be around 500 in Big Ten if fortunate. Crean likes the W's for his own record.

No love in most recent coaches poll ( zero votes ). These coaches know the type of teams that comprise most of Crean's schedule.
Whatever happened to "The Movement " ?

It was a movement alright, just a bowel movement.

Great class on paper and in highlights, but that's about it.  Another reason I don't give a crap about how a recruit looks in highlights.

They're kids. You guys are amazing. Jeremy just as easily could have been an all conference player as he was a "bust." Peter never was healthy.

This isn't as easy as you guys make it out to be. Not everyone is going to make it here, but they all want to. It just won't happen. Not in this age with kids looking for the instant result. Watford nearly left at the same point that Jeremy did. But he stuck it out, got tough, became a player. It's what's inside of the kid, not what some recruiting analyst says.

For how much we all follow this stuff..how do some still not get it? We can criticize this, criticize the offense (which once again is one of the best in the country), but there's a lot of good going on right now. Should we be satisfied? Hell no. But that doesn't mean we should be stupid either. And that's what shipping Coach out would be at this point in time...stupid and short sighted.
