Big event going on in Kentucky this weekend with a few recruits . I been busy and haven't looked into this but there is usually a stream. Coach Martin in the house!

East Chicago's Damien Jefferson 19 first-half points, 5-6 on 3s. He's certainly in the mix with the very talented 2017 class in Indiana.

I'm at the Hoopfest now sitting about 50ft from Bill Self watching Braxton Blackwell against Lalumiere. Kind of hard to really evaluate him when his next best player is a 5'10" 8th grader and they're getting slaughtered. He reminds me of a more competitive Hollowell. Good frame, pretty good athlete. Decent handle left and right. Goes to the rim hard. Hasn't looked for his jumper much at all, but made 1 deep 3. Competes hard. Might be one of those guys who's a really good piece for a good team but not a primary option.

Southport with a 3 at the buzzer to beat Ben Davis 55-52. Scruggs also had 6 steals. Solid game.

Great game. Bennett had 23. Paul Scruggs 17 points and 12 rebounds. DeShon Tate 17 for Ben Davis.
