Uhh... No. Northwestern is terrible. There is a massive distance between them and the top teams. Michigan State has just been playing with fire recently with close games. This one might finally get them.

Anyone trying to figure out college basketball just needs to relax and enjoy the show.    Kansas St (0-4 in conference) is going to beat the hottest team in college basketball.  Best sport on the planet

Northwestern is basically equivalent to Notre Dame.  Pom has them at 54, Notre Dame at 50.

Without Nance, not so good though.

MSU ball, 27 seconds left, Spartans down 2.  IMO, Northwestern has been the worst team closing out games in the NCAA.....falls on Collins.

MSU bailed out with the possession arrow there.  If that ball doesn't land under Young's butt, Northwestern recovers and MSU has to foul.

I am comparing the bottom teams today compared to 80's and 90's.  This NW team is better than those NW and UW of the past.  On the other hand the top teams today is not even close to the he top teams back then.
