The amount of contact that they are letting go in the Maryland/Purdue game is just nuts.  They've called three fouls in the first eight 1/2 minutes of the second half and one of those was a technical foul for a player complaining about a call.

Painter at least temporarily has pulled Edey to try to counter the full court pressure that Maryland is employing.

Bold strategy. One would think the presumptive BIG and National player of the year wouldn't get pulled at a critical juncture of the game or that pulling him wouldn't improve PU's chances.

Maryland has thrown more punches in this second round but purdoodoo still has a punchers chance or could possibly go for the submission.

It's not even like Maryland is shooting the lights out.  22 of 47 and just 3 made threes.
