SOR.  Strength of Record

Which is still incredibly flawed. Because it still just takes into account the rest of flawed system used. Eventually, something else will be created. Maybe. I think the NCAA likes the NET because they don't have to explain and give out the formula(because I fully believe they rig the absolute hell out of everything they do).

Isn't a rating system yet that puts a real penalty on actually losing.

Also KPI

Sparty is 43 in KPI and 55 in SOR which both are results based

My WAR system does -- the only efficiency rating used is to gauge the value of a team's opponent.  The margin of victory will not effect a team and all losses result in a drop in war and all wins result in an increase in WAR.  Win values range from +.03 to +.97;  loss values range from -.05 to -.95.

Where is Michigan State in your rankings?

43-55 seems a bit more accurate for them.

Results based systems.   Sparty isn’t the only team that has a big gap in the predictives and results based numbers.   Those teams are always hard to seed

They were 42 in WAR for me entering last Monday.  Their road loss to Minnesota followed by home win against Illinois are just a slight net positive, so they are likely are around the same ranking this week.

Washington st gets a win at Oregon or so I’m told it was on the PAC 12 network so who knows if anyone saw it.   Washington St has put themselves in position to get an at large

Speaking of the Pac-12... How could they not have forseen everyone leaving? Like you trying to get a TV with... Apple TV. What? You can't complain there is East Coast bias and that no one watches and then take a TV deal with Apple TV... Where literally no one will watch. You already have no one watching and then even less people would watch. Morons. Absolute morons.

Teams that have to be pissed are Oregon State and Washington State.  They'll go into the Mountain West Conference where their football programs will take a huge financial  hit.
