At halftime of the Iowa-UNC game ...

Host: "Colorado-Tennessee. First game for the Vols. Coach, what does Rick Barnes have this year?"

Seth Greenberg: "Rick Barnes has the best team in the ACC."

After watching UNC and Dook so far he's probably right :)

Early in the year but I think UNC is going to be a handful by mid-year. They are loaded underneath and their young guards will get better.

Illinois has a lot of weapons and Iowa has multiple guys that can stroke it. I can see why they are in the top tier of the Big Ten.

The one time Purdue played Duke, they got stomped. And the game was at Mackey.

Purdue doesn't draw on a national level. The people doing the scheduling want a lot of eyeballs on Duke and UNC. They don't get that if their opponent is Purdue.

I know why it is the way it is, it’s just annoying. Especially when Purdue fans try to tout their elusive winning record in the series as if they have anything to be proud of there.

Kansas st lost by 13 to a D2 school

To D2 school that had been 0-3 against other D2 schools.

Let’s put it this way:

This season Fort Hays State wasn’t as good as Washburn, Emporia State, or Nebraska-Kearny, but they were 13 points better than Kansas State.

I’ve never thought of Bruce Weber as a dirty coach, but if Aminu Mohamed commits to Kansas State there’s got to be a bag of cash involved!

Nah by definition it would be worst since D1>D2.  High major teams losing to mid majors happens all the time.   High major teams losing to D2 teams almost never happens

Not just losing to a D2 team....getting blown out by a team that is really bad IN DIVISION 2.

It would be the equivalent of IU getting blown out by a team entirely composed of Indiana State’s walk-ons.

To follow up usually if a high major team loses to a D2 team if really doesn’t count against the record since they play them mostly in exhibition games at the beginning of the year.  This one was a regular season game that counts.   Who knows maybe Kansas st can shake it off and have a successful season.    Syracuse lost an exhibition game one year and everyone lost their crap over it.   They ended up going to the final 4 that year

By 13.

At Assembly Hall.

only Rose Hulman is an average D2 team, and Would be favored against Fort Hays State, which is a really bad D2 team.

Getting beat by Athletes in action at home  could be considered a level worse then getting beat by a mid major, getting beat by a D2 school at home  could be considered by some to be worst and probably losing to D3 school at home  might be considered worst.   Couple of examples
