No way. We'd have 15 losses. An at-large bid is gone and has been for awhile now.

It won’t happen but there is a way..

Wiscy and MSU would be quad 1 wins, @Ill and Rutgers are quad 2 wins. That’s 17-14 in the regular season. If IU gets to the conference finals they’d most likely pick up a couple more quad 1 and a quad 2 win. At 20-15 with the wins they’d have they’d be in.

Joe Lunardi still had us in at 13-13 earlier this week. Conference record means zero when it comes to the selection process. This new NET system would work in our favor as we'd be in the top 15 in Quad 1 wins if we win out the regular season. The committee thinks highly of the B1G this year. If we go 17-14, we're in. Book it. Not gonna happen but we have a chance.

We’d need a minimum of 2 wins in the BTt though. That would depend on who we got matched up in our first and second games.

Lunardi would be the 68th seeded bracketoligist if there was a 68 seeded bracket. All of us bracketoligist project the field as if the season ended today so having them 13-13 and in just means that have really good top ended wins. From studying team sheets this week if IU finished 17-14 I wouldn’t like their chances regardless of how many quad 1 wins they have.

The problem is that even with us winning out like that, we still went 8-12 in conference. Which the committee may not look at conference record, but at 8-12, they would look at it and say hell no.

If there was no conference tournament you are right they would say heck no but since there is a tournament if they went 8-12 and made the semi-finals or finals they would say heck yes depending on who they beat to get there

It’s garbage and the conference suffers for it.

They have actually been better without Vick. Azuibuike, however, was a big loss. A rim protector that they don't have now.
