Having Yogi had a lot to do with it but that's when you bring in another point and develop him to take over when Yogi is gone.  I know Crean tried to do that with Newkirk but...

Yes Josh Newkirk, who was coming off an ACL injury and had already played two years at Pittsburgh. I would've much rather had a freshman PG to fill the role. Devonte Green can be it and Crean needs to play him over Newkirk

This week is a perfect example of rankings don't truly matter in college basketball. Helps with recruiting, but ultimately just a number.
