Year 1. 6 Pessimistic.
Year 2. 3 Realist.
Year 3. 2 Optimistic.
Year 4. 2 Optimistic
Year 5. 1 Pumping major sunshine.
Year 6. 5 Knew we wouldn't overachieve. Actually became indifferent for first time since Davis years.
Year 7. 9 Love the kids. Crean can't coach. Still want us to win. Crean can't coach.

I gave Crean 5 years to get it turned around and stable. Year six was dismal and going into this year we're going to get killed inside without a master on the sidelines to draw or figure it out. Sorry, I agree with the other prognosticators even when its my alma mater. If only every game could be like Wisconsin last year, we would be on to something. Unfortunately, the Wisconsin game sticks out because it happens very rarely and shows how unprepared his staff normally is come gametime.

Last year was bad. Crean making coaching errors was forgivable for me, what really bothered me was the utter lack of game plan and play books. Watching an IU game was watching an offense dribble a ball with no concept of what to do until the last 5 seconds, just to make a move out of total desperation. I think that the shooters really open up an offense, and it will have to, because I'm not sure the offensive play book is very detailed. Having great shooters make it a lot harder for defenses and if they can hit consistent threes, IU will be a very dangerous team come March.

I've actually heard the opposite on the playbook .Way too many set plays that are complicated to learn.

Couple that with the constant turnover of the roster and you have a recipe for disaster. The addition of shooters will help a lot but the absence of motion and reliance on the dribble drive will still be there.

That's just my opinion though.

Back to topic ,I would have to mirror Camp Crean, All but 5 and 8.

Could never be indifferent, love IU hoops to much.

I have come real close to the doom and gloom but then i just get drunk and feel better.
