Best college bball courts

Every single one of those programs would be first in line to thank the great state of Indiana in their basketball roots. Well, those that understand the game. Maybe you should do more reading at your advanced, analytical place of thinking.

The reason I take issue with your line of thinking is because it is the same kind of statement that makes people hate UK like when Calipari said, "We are college basketball". It's just a warped opinion of superiority with no way to back it up similar to your need to try to discredit anyone who disagrees with you.

Haven't we had this discussion? UCLA=Wooden, Duke/ UNC= Everette Case, Kansas = Naismith, UK = who cares, all they have ever done is cheat to win and bet on games. Just think most all of college basketball blueblood programs can thank the great state of Indiana for their basketball IQ. Thanks for reminding all of us. We're #1 again.

Your arrogance is at a level I've never even come close to seeing before. Gotta give you points for that I guess

He must have paid big bucks for that large a section. I have one slat x 6" on a plaque and paid like $75. I have no idea where on the floor it came from, but knowing we were about .816 win% on it says it all.

Owns a dental practice.  so, yeah... haha

Some like you may call it arrogance which is alright since its your opinion. Others, like myself, would call it tradition and history backed up by facts which are easily identified. Is my opinion alright as well?

See my issue isn't with your opinion. My issue is that this comes off as being beyond arrogant about your own knowledge of basketball, as well as your schools history, or in this case Indiana's basketball history. Also, it is this train of thought to why some consider our fanbase as one of the worst in the country to talk to, while coming off as full of ourselves.

Never said you weren't entitled to your opinion, don't insinuate arguments that others didn't create.

We are all entitled to our opinions---but we have to be careful with the way we communicate them!

And we have to remember that an opinion is just that---an opinion---it mat not be correct and we may not be able to convince the rest of the world that we are correct.

If that's the case---agree to disagree and move on!

But keep on posting your opinions!  A little good-natured sparring makes message boards more fun!

I have heard otherwise regarding our fanbase including NC State, Duke, and others. Most state the knowledge of our fans regarding x's and o's is what make it enjoyable to interact. Which goes back to what I was discussing in the first place. Being proud of your history and tradition is a far cry from arrognce imo.

You aren't expressing pride in your history and tradition by proclaiming IU fans to be the most intelligent fan base there is, that is arrogance. Again don't misrepresent my arguments to better fit your arguments the way you want. I have never said anything about we shouldn't have pride in our history or tradition.

"My corrupt program is ruining the spirit of college basketball." Is what he meant.
