Advanced stat stuff. Good to see we're doing better with both Domas and Myles in the game together. Biggest concern is that defensive rating w/o Myles. Though Myles has started to close out games recently, probably has something to do with it

Brogdon and LeVert are also tow of the worst 3pt shooters off the bounce. Which isn't helpful at all. Brogdon was a good 3pt shooter in Milwaukee because he wasn't creating.

Yah one of the bigger question marks so far has been why TJM is playing so much off ball with Brogdon and LeVert. He is pretty bad at it, whereas they are both good at it

I would love to ask Carlisle his reasoning for that. I can’t figure that one out

The infatuation for TJM is astounding. Like how in the world of the NBA, could you have not been able to sign over him? And then sign Brad Wanamaker?

Had 4 players with 3+ turnovers.

McConnell had 4 and 4 assists.

LeVert had 3 and 1 assists.

Sabonis had 3 and 1 assists.

Wanamaker had 3 and 2 assists.

And the P's start another winning streak.

Pacers honestly looked pretty impressive on their west coast road trip. Their defense is much better than it was the first week of the season when it was awful.Myles has been -playing great. They've been able to close games with Myles and Domas with it being mostly positive. Brogdon has been pretty great. Dude is at the top of the league on drives, and no one is stopping him. TJM is playing really well. I know I am blinded by fandom, but am really high on this roster witj Carlisle.

How high of a seed can they get/achieve?

I nean who else were they gonna sign as a back up guard? Maybe Caruso, but I'd rather have TJM.

I hate every second Wanamaker is on the court. I'd rather see Jarreau. But he is with the Mad Ants, which he needs minutes to develop so that makes sense.

My bias sats as high as 4-5? Their schedule lightens up around January. If they could keep hovering around .500+ I'd be happy. I think realistically 6th is where they will end up.

I'm thinking in the 8-10 area. I was optimistic before the season, but now, it's the same problems as last season. No pride defensively, no consistency on offense, turnovers, defense, health. No toughness. This isn't a team that's going to beat you down defensively. They aren't going to beat you 3. Really no identity to be found. Just a team of guys who should be 3rd options or further down. We have 1 guy on the team with a legitimate specialty trait and that's Turner with shot blocking.

Per CBS:

Duarte is perhaps the most developed rookie in his class at this stage in the season. Not surprising considering his 24 years old, but it's still impressive for a rookie to average 16 points while shooting 44.7 percent from the field and an even more ridiculous 42 percent from deep.

In fact, his 3-point percentage right now would rank second all-time in league history among rookies who averaged five or more 3s a game in their first season. Obviously that could change over the course of the season, but that's just how great of a start Duarte has gotten out to. Even better, when Duarte's on the floor, the Pacers outscore opponents by 36 points, making him invaluable to Indiana's success going forward.

Need to trade Sabonis.

Maybe. Someone that's worth more to put on the floor. It's just a fact that the Pacers are better without Sabonis on the floor.

I would take Simmons.  Regardless of his "issues."
