Hey guys....

Someone sure crapped in your cornflakes this morning, calm down man its just basketball and its just a (supposed) adult discussion hahaha

I don't think his comment was anything that deserves that type of response. At least his comment was related to basketball and didn't include anything personal.

Yeah I shouldn't have said it, but I get tired of all the negativity. Too many people on here shove their opinion down peoples throats and act like their opinion is the law
I'm just saying Ive been a huge IU fan for years, here recently I've decided to get on a few boards to talk IU basketball with fellow fans and all Ive read on both here and Inside the Hall is mostly negative about the team and the coach. These message boards end up being pretty hostile. One tries to express their opinion and if you are too positive you are a "kool aid" drinker…yeah thats a very welcoming fan base hahah. I think the success of the program is reflected in the attitude of the fan base. Its pretty sad actually. I thought it would be pretty fun to come on here and talk IU basketball with fellow fans but in the month or so that Ive been on here, its been pretty dismal. Thats life though, no matter where you go there will always be people to try to find the worst in situations and constantly complain about things.
Heres to hoping the Hoosiers have a great year this year! And heres my goodbye to the board!

I appreciate the response but think it's an overreaction. I personally don't want anyone of the regulars leaving the board. Everyone brings something to the table. You have to realize this is a rough off season compared to the "average". We just had a poor year and are being predicted 8-10 by the "professionals" this year. The recruiting ended abysmally after starting fantastic.

There is good reason for concern, but in general, I and most others are really excited about this core team and expect them to shock the analysts. Hang in there bud!

So true Woodson---seems like there should be more positive posts and excitement about JBJ---our newest McDonald's All American--- and fewer negative posts about some of the other boys who may not be as highly rated and who no one has even seen play yet.

Go figure!

rebel, I agree with you on Priller. Every year Wisconsin and someone like Northwestern has a big man that can step up and burry the 3 and it kills us. More and more teams are starting to have a player that does and I think we could use someone like that. The kid has a great shot, and will be a mismatch on the wing, and if given time, his other skills could catch up to his shooting

That may be good logic on a team without a guard heavy lineup and virtually no bigs. A 3 point shooting big man is the last thing IU needs this year or the forseeable future. That's the head scratcher as far as I'm concerned. At least April is a big that's suppose to play as a big even though he's nit highly rated either. But then you have to ask, haven't we've seen enough of these project bigs. I say yes.

Well Wisconsin uses it very well and they don't have a lot of other bigs.
Well here is the thing, everyone is calling Priller a "big" but I honestly don't think he is a big. He is a big "wing" player. Anyone that can score points is something that IU needs. Like Ive said before, Ive grown tired of talking about these guys that we haven't seen yet but most people want to have a in stone judgment of. Let the games begin then we can really make our judgments.
