ALASKA HOOSIER

2015 MAUI CLASSIC Thread

Recommended Posts

I know we are like 390 days away from our Hoosiers playing in the Maui Classic but......I'M FRIGGIN' HYPED since this will be the only games i get to see them play for the unforseeable future (I live in Alaska and it is cheaper to fly to Hawaii from here than to go to the lower 48) Anyhow, if you plan on attending, hit me up.....Let's see if we can get a little community going and meet to drink some fu fu drinks while we are there!

The Great Alaskan Shootout still is going in Anchorage. I traveled down a few years ago to watch Texas Tech and Coach Knight. That happened to be the last year he coached so it was quite the treat. Now, they only attract mid-majors, if that. It isn't worth it to attend. We hear that it costs too much to bring better schools up to Alaska with the cost of flights.

Wednesday, Nov. 26 – First Round
7:30 p.m. (Game 1) – Pacific vs Alaska Anchorage (CBSSN)
10 p.m. (Game 2) – Missouri State vs Colorado State (CBSSN)
Thursday, Nov. 27 – First Round
5:30 p.m. (Game 3) – Rice vs Mercer (CBSSN)
8 p.m. (Game 4) – Washington State vs UC Santa Barbara (CBSSN)

the teams are sub-par! (sorry if anyone graduated or a fan from these schools)
