I don't know why the Colts even bother returning punts. They get penalized nearly every time. 

 

 

If you aren't going to signal fair catch when a defender is barreling in on you, the least you can do is not cough up the ball.

Not sure I trust the offense to score any more points today. Luck is looking pretty bad.

I've seen that several times this year, not just the Colts where there is no chance for a return and the returner gets buried. It is weird

 

I'll never understand why Whalen is back there or really on the roster anymore. Dude can't crack the offensive rotation, so we stick him back to return punts when he isn't nearly fast or athletic enough to make a play.

 

And yeah, it would take some research but it feels like forever we always lead the league in special teams return penalties.

So many blunders today, but they played a great game. Get rid of the sloppiness and we have a great team.

Also, how about Davis, another good week. Only 5 weeks in, but the consistency has been there so far this season. Toler has certainly gotten a bit better about not grabbing on double moves. The one he got called for, that they seemingly called pass interference with the ball not being in the air, was iffy already
