Wilson on the hot seat according to an idiot

Wonder if the thread title should be changed.

it was a proper title when IU lost to Bowling Green,

then...it needed to be changed after the Mizzou victory...

then...it it's back to being appropriate due to the Maryland debacle...

check back next week to see if it needs to be changed again...

I primarily meant the last part of the title "according to this idiot".

Wisconsin dropped 83 on us and could have hit a hundy if they really wanted. Lynch's last two teams routinely quit during games and ultimately seasons. Wilson had to sacrifice his first year weeding out the chaff and changing the  mindset  of the team and fanbase.

The program was a wreck, which is saying quite a bit given our historical suckiness.

If we can't give a guy 5  years to try to fix 125 years of crap, then we might as well bulldoze Memorial Stadium and build a new palace for basketball. Which most people probably wouldn't even mind.

How has Wilson fared against Wisoconsin? Absolutely incredibly awful

The only noticeable difference between Lynch and Wilson's tenures to this point is that our offense is a lot better. The defense still blows and I still see way too many mental mistakes/lack of understanding of rules (Wynn's botched kickoff against Bowling Green, nobody realizing a backward pass was a fumble against Minnesota last year, etc.).
