Let's just say Pete and April should room together cause they have a lot in common!
Hanner has come back with a vengeance ...look for big things from him....more later :)

He was being sarcastic.  My sarcasm meter sounded. haha.  That is not the news I wanted but based on the fact no one had heard of him that late in the game it was to be fully expected.  Sadly, sounds like a future transfer candidate.  Projects don't seem to work out.......ever!

And before the response, Oladipo was not a "project"

When you say "more later", could that please mean as soon as possible? or once you are out of the gym at least?

Perea's success next year will really be one of the biggest impacts on how our win-loss looks at the end of the year. he has got to give the opposing defense some pressure in the post. not only to score.. but to rebound and to let JB2, ROJO, and Yogi get some open 3s. we could have a very dangerous team if Hanner can truly be great.

Devin and Hanner will have to be very big for us. Troy seems more educated in the system. Yogi is stepping up his leadership skills, Stan could have a breakout year. Max, Blackmon, Johnson will be here soon and then we will see what the puzzle looks like. Priller, April, and Pete are all in the same boat....

Thanks for the info buddy. Hopefully this behind the scenes stuff can translate to the court this year.  Has this been cleared through the TheStillman yet?  :farting_smiley:

I seen you post somewhere that Hanner looked better. Any particular reason or is he just finally putting it all together?

There is no competition ..so he is more aggressive, and he feels comfortable with his supporting cast...I feel like he seems to have something to prove. He now has to become a leader and move forward.... I think he is embracing that!

Alright. Thanks man.

We could have a pretty tight, impressive rotation of 7-8. I really hope Crean rides the talent. I'd rather not have 2 walk ons getting big minutes or any minutes really. Me, and the rest of HoosierNation have hated his Sub patterns, hopefully this year based on obvious restrictions he figures things out.

In descending order of minutes:
Yogi
JB
Hanner/Stan/Troy
DDavis
Rojo
Max

I was rather impressed with his decisions to sub Howard for Vonleh late in the game in defensive situations and vice versa. It often made a significant difference IMO.

It definitely improved a certain extent. I think the heat was getting hot and the home booing may have finally settled in.

However it seems our talent was acting up alot last year and probably needed benching for disciplinary reasons. Hard to know everything Crean was dealing with, but I didn't like Hartman getting minutes, marlin either. Stan deserved more minutes earlier. DD too. Too many minutes for Howard. Not enough for Perea either. Too many for Gordon in alot of games. I really, really wonder about the Gordon relationship. Wonder if we still lead with Eron based on how Evans time went.

Coach, players and fans. I like to imagine CC will have a better understanding of the team as a whole, the players will better understand their roles, and the fans will experience a much more enjoyable season.

Looks like the media finally caught up to basketball4iu

@Justin_Albers: Bellarmine transfer Ryan Burton (6-8) will walk on at Indiana. He's been with the team this summer. He played at Bedford North. #iubb
That's a much needed big body walk on.
Two 6'8" walk-ons to provide some solid practice in the paint for our vertically challenged team.
