I just wish we would have attempted to recruit Trey Lyles.  Man, if only Crean had lobbed a phone call or visit his way at the very least.  Can't believe we totally did not even attempt to recruit that kid.

If this is about our center, then I'm gonna lay it out there. DD is way undersized to play the 5. Hopefully him and Hanner can play together at the 4 and 5 and succeed. But in the end, Hanner has to step up big time and be "the ruler of the paint" this year. We need him to make a leap.

What do you mean by ruler?  Do you mean who is going to be the leader?  Or who is going to be the measuring stick of our success?  Maybe those two questions are intertwined in a certain way but I'd say it all comes down to how much the returning players can improve and develop.  The 2012 and 2013 kids need to make significant strides forward.  We can't put ourselves in a position of needing the 2014 kids to blow up right away.  Look at what happened last year, the 2012 kids were disappointing overall and we had to lean on the 2013 class way too much.

I was think the same thing about his size but I like his scrappy play on the boards for the 4 spot!!! What happened to Peter jurkin? It would be great to see hanner improve greatly we need him bad maybe Jeremiah April will get some playing time?

Nor am I. We don't have a dominant big man, so if you want to leave it at that, this thread has a short shelf life. It's Hanner if he steps up and Devin, although undersized, if he doesn't.

There is a reason PJ has been sitting out.  Coach knew we would need a huge year from him.  Expect big things from PJ, if he gets time on the court and confidence and learns how to anchor the middle.  I have faith!
