NBA Draft: Noah Vonleh
It sucks as a basketball fan. Dude had all the potential in the world, and had already shown so much growth. Watching him go back and forth with Anthony Davis for 12-15 years would be really entertaining basketball. Maybe he can still reach that potential, but it seems so unlikely now
Been playing ball for 4 years? And was a monster at KU. That's crazy. Crazier how good he would've (and still could...he isn't dead) become.

True. I hope he does, even more with the dearth of talent at the center position in the NBA. Dwight Howard and guys like Jefferson are great, but it feels like they just overpower guys strength or athleticism. Both Davis and Embiid are such different guys, Embiid's footwork in particular is amazing for a big guy

If anything it's going to help him. Any team tht has doubts on embiid health could pass on him an look at a much more ready body for the nba in vonleh. A lot of team I believe or going to be looking at the Greg Odon situation an say do we want to risk such a high pick on someone who has been hurt more than half the season an hurt again. If anything this helps vonleh I could see embiid falling like Davis don't see this has anything to do with vonleh stock

I need to watch Davis more. I've been hearing great things, but I just never watch Nawlins.

He was number 1, and there wasn't really any question about it. So far its worked out for him individually, if only everyone around him could stay healthy. Everything I've read about his "injuries" have been more of the Hornets/Pelicans knew they weren't doing anything so it was more precautionary stuff.

Feel bad for Embiid of course. As a Celtics fan, I'd love for him drop to us at #6. For the top 2-3 picks you can't gamble on his health, but at #6 it's worth the gamble. Hope he's still there.

@DustinDopirak: This was put up quickly. http://t.co/fE382M54Mzattachicon.gifImageUploadedByBtownBanners1404154188.885598.jpgSent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

I'm hoping that JBjr won't be added to that display case next year. Would it be asking too much to get a couple of seasons out of him before he goes pro?

I think he'll be a 2 year player. I think he'll tear it up for us but he won't be physically ready to bang with the NBA players quite yet. Time will tell obviously, but sounds good to me

JB2's going to need to bulk up with Je'ney before he would be ready for the NBA. They're huge at the next level.  Shouldn't take too much time though, I mean Yogi coming into his 2nd year looked like his arms would be taking over the rest of his body by the end of the season lol

Guess we'll finally get our wish. We'll get to see what it would have been like to have Noah and Cody on the floor together this summer.

@JeffRabjohns: Cody Zeller and Noah Vonleh both will be playing on the Charlotte Hornets summer league team. #iubb
