It's funny. On the Purdoo board they're saying that Painter will not attempt to recruit Justin Martin.

 

Seems like he would be an extremely high-value addition, were it not for factors that I have no idea about.

Well, we get to see him firsthand this year, as others.

SMU will be beastly with Mudiay......and Martin will be a great addition.

Butler will be much much better and Etherington will get some play. He will be their third or fourth best player.

Ohio State with Anthony Lee could be scary too. I think Craft was vastly overrated. I like what Deangelo Russell brings plus other top
notch freshman

I see so many other teams with better rosters than us, it is disgusting.

Why the heck couldn't we find 1 damn grad transfer/Juco to fill the roster? We seemingly had so much to offer..... Why????????

I don't know how next year will turn out, we're talented but have a glaring hole on the interior. A hole so big I'm not sure how we'll compete in the Big Ten and we'll have to play a bit of a gimmick style probably.

But, if IU disappoints again next year, part of what will disappoint me is that we will have basically wasted two of Yogi Farrell's four years with just one left to go.

SMU? Good lord. Well my avatar is safe because deep down I knew we wouldn't land this kid. But I thought he would spend his final seasons at a higher caliber school than SMU.

I had a dream before it was announced Martin was transferring that he committed to the Hoosiers. When I awoke I couldn't even remember who Justin Martin was. Looked him up, "Oh yeah, that kid", and continued with my day. Five or six days later and I see this topic.

So does anyone actually know what Justin's issues were?  I'm seeing a lot of speculation about it, but did he do something at Xavier (on or off court) that's obvious, or are these issues behind closed doors?
