Cal's Future????

Recommended Posts
Brooklyn Nets seem to be a better fit for Cal. A zen type coach would fit better in LA. Hope he leaves soon, just means the collapse happens quicker.
He was already the coach of the Nets once in the late 90's. And didn't work out so well if I remember correctly.

It didn't, he also got paranoid thinking his phone was tapped.

Plus, there's no way he wants to miss out on another monster recruiting class. Lakers have indicated they are sticking with D'Antoni. The Lakers are a mess right now. Kobe is on his way out and is injured. Would be a rebuilding job.

Eh, I don't really see Kobe as the type of guy who is going to go quietly. Plus he is signed through 2016 now, they have a lot of money to spend this off-season, and will have a high draft pick. Lakers aren't really the type of franchise that stays down too long

I think why he will leave rather soon. The only reason I think he will go is because of his ego. He failed miserably at the NBA level and I think in his view he compares college ball to sitting on the kids table on thanksgiving . He wants to be the top dog and if a good gig opens up like the lakers (franchise wise) he will take it. In my opinion that is. He's a snake after all. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Thought I read that the Lakers were preparing to fire D'antoni yesterday.
