Is Coach Crean feeling the heat?

Recommended Posts

[quote name="basketball4u" post="57233" timestamp="1396541276"]Well... To be determined but IMO I see this as being one of the issues...detrimental to the team.. It happens everywhere but it is part of a bigger issue with this team. IMO

So we are now taking a kids "RETWEETS" and saying that it is his own words? These weren't necessarily said by Troy, just retweeted. I spend all of my day around 16-18 year olds, they retweet anything they see, just to be funny. It is a quote from someone else, doesn't mean they want to drink, or party, just wanted to retweet a cool picture or a funny saying about little 5.

Is Crean feeling the heat? No. He has a huge contract and hasn't changed his coaching style one bit since he arrived. How does a man who thinks his players are the problem feel heat?

The players turned the furnace on?

Bologna. You don't miss the NIT with two burger boys, one of which is a lottery pick. The coaching staff failed those kids more than they failed them. Exceptions being Hollowell and Hanner

It was a joke.  I know Crean will point at the players about everything, he could spill a glass of milk and blame the players.

A point ? Yes... An agenda? No

You've used that word a lot in this thread and yet to use any reasoning as to why

I disagree with that too. You seem to have reading comprehension problems when it comes to my posts. Maybe you should just ignore them.

I'll put it to you this way. You've accused me of having some kind of feud with Rayl and JS. I think the real deal is you're trying to have a feud with me. I suggest you give it up.

Do I need to make that any more clear for you?

You haven't tried to converse with me on a message board. You've been trying to start a fight with me ever since you joined. Kind of makes me think you're a certain person from hsn.

Really over analyzing a college student's social media accounts. Check their twitter and instagrams. They're full of IUBB posts and other completely innocent stuff. I'd hate to hear the things you all said about me if you saw my twitter...

Well this thread went south fast...sorry as mentioned before by me and others it is generally the institutions policy to clean up social media with athletes. Does it happen all the time.. No. With that said, since there has been issues this year, and what I see currently and what I know..I feel that we didn't learn anything from our mistakes... Thus how does that impact the future?
But since my "agenda" to make you aware of this is questioned ..I will END with that.

Sorry, a player retweeting stupid stuff is not really a big deal. A player getting a dwi is kind of a big deal.

This is a big deal:

"Zach Price had a pretty bad Thursday.

The Missouri basketball player was reportedly arrested twice in one day. The first arrest was early in the morning for an altercation involving Price, his roommate, and a woman. Price was charged with third-degree assault and third-degree domestic assault. From the Columbia Tribune:

Price, 20, was involved in a dispute with a 23-year-old male roommate and a 23-year-old female and followed them from the area of Heather Lane and Ash Street to the area of Stadium Boulevard and blocked in their vehicle with his own vehicle, preventing them from leaving the area, according to the report.

The statement said that Price exited the vehicle and struck the male victim in the face with a closed fist. The other victim attempted to intervene and was pushed to the ground by Price.

One of the victims tried to spray Price with mace. Both victims were said to sustain minor injuries as a result of Price's actions.

The university announced in a statement that Price, a transfer from Louisville, had been suspended. Hours later, Price was arrested again, though the charges from the second arrest haven't been released.

Columbia Police confirm that Mizzou basketball player Zach Price has been brought in and arrested for the second time today. More to come.

Update: Via commenter TheCokeHorse, Steve Walentik of the Columbia Daily Tribune has charges for the second arrest. Was it a separate incident from Price's first, or were the assault charges from the morning changed?

Zach Price was released from Boone County Jail about 10 min. ago after posting bond for 2nd-degree assault, 2nd-degree domestic assault

Judging from the photo accompanying the Kansas City Star's article on the first arrest, it seems that Price at least changed clothes between mugshots."

Happened today. Now forgive me while I'm not calling out the National Guard over some retweets.
