How would ya'll rate the Big 10 coaches right now. Try to be subjective, as I am sure we all have a bad taste in our mouth from this last year. for me it would be.

I personally couldn't put Crean higher than 8th, and that might be generous.  Top half of the league?  I sure can't see it.

 

My list would have to look like Hovadipo or King posted.

Completely agree here, with the only possibility of Ryan and Beilien being switched!  Top 2 or 3 in the B1G, does it really matter?  Other than Izzo, I think the other top 4 would be debatable!

I wish we could compare everyone's rankings with how everyone would have ranked them last year. Not trying to invite attacks...just a thought.

 

I also think it would be easier to make an honest list of the rest of the B10 if Crean were excluded. Selection bias and all.

All good lists, but as I sat here tonight watching Michigan I'd be tempted to put Belien tied with Bo Ryan at second, and although I am not a happy Hoosier Crean would be above Collins, McCaffery and Miles. Thinking of where IU started to last year, he did a job deserving of a higher position, since the last game last year and through this past season, not so much!

I really feel after a few years experience that Collins and Pitino could be in the top half. I already think Collins is better than adapting to his roster than Crean.

I'll admit that I only saw Minnesota play a few times this year, but I wasn't quite as impressed with Pitino as I was with Collins. He could end up being great, but I liked Collins more.
