The Future

Recommended Posts

As to IU's season, the rest is very unpredictable. But, I came across a quote today and it can relate to the pessimistic Hoosiers as well as us Optimistic Hoosiers. "Others have seen what is, and asked why. I have seen what could be, and asked why not." -Robert F. Kennedy Tom Crean has handled adversity and succeeded before, I have FAITH in HIM and our players(especially Yogi, favorite player) to comeback next season with an assassins mentality.

Pritch, you're very positive today.

Regarding the quote, I think it's solid. I agree, we have a lot of potential for the future. With Yogi as our leader for the next two years and two more years of growth from him, along with everyone else, we have unlimited potential.

Pritch is always positive. (example: Iowa putback...)

It's amazing what can trigger a turnaround....
Whether it be basketball or relationships or whatever...
IU fans have seen these turnarounds over the years and I guarantee you, we will see it again...

Disclaimer to my guarantee... May not happen this year!

the sophomore class is the one I think that is killing him. They should be getting major minutes and keeping the movement going. One guy out of five and having the others still bit finding ways to contribute consistently is a big hit.

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

who's going to be our post player next season? i can't imagine Noah comes back when he's a projected lottery pick. why would he take the chance to get his half dozen or so shots a game when he could be making millions? how's his stock going to raise playing in this offense? i'm going to be surprised if we see Hollowell, Perea, or Jurkin next season. plus lose Gordon. too much turnaround every year to get any kind of consistency or chemistry, imo.

Not based on any inside information, and it seems unlikely given the current state of affairs...

But I believe that Hanner Mosquera Perea will be a major factor for the Hoosiers next season.

I hope you're right. I would love to see Hanner become a force inside. Would be great for him and great for the program to attract future bigs. That said, I believe he is going to have to make a truly committed effort this summer to advance that basketball IQ and his skills to where they've got to be.

So, is this the real Pritchard? I'm confused.

haha no, he is just my favorite player besides yogi all time. I'm just a measly little high school Junior from Indiana who happens to know a bit about the history at IU, and college basketball. Although, I have to admit meeting The Pritch would be a dream come true! I thought the name, and posting some stuff by user name would be kinda cool.. Like a mask
