Hoosiers and Their Fans Must Forgive, Forget … and Fight on to the Finish

Jealousy and anger, you're exhibiting it well. cubs are just like purdont, the little brother that tries to tag along with the cool older brother but keeps falling short. 1908 and never, two things that go together like oil and vinegar.

Oil and vinegar go together well. Put down the pork chops and try a salad once in a while. :103:

Lol, man I think most Cubs fans would be the first to let you know the Cardinals have the best organization in baseball. Cubs are years behind, but had to start somewhere. Glad they finally got a modern FO, scouting department, and international facilities. Congrats on what you guys have, but I am glad of the direction we have going.

True. Rebuilding the Cubs organization was exactly that, starting at the lowest level of the minor leagues and rebuilding from the bottom up. Cardinals have a organization that can support the major league team. Cardinals can lose a star major leaguer or two without decimating the squad. Heck, I would have trouble naming anyone on the Cubs roster as a star at this time.

The cards piss me off because they lose someone or someone gets hurt and then some no namer comes up and just dominates like the other guy. Such a deep organization.

Thats what you get when you spend years and even decades, building your organization for success. Trading away prospects for over the hill superstars hasn't helped the Cubs at all. You have to build your minor leagues to sustain any success you have in the big leagues.

I wish my Yankees would take the approach the Cardinals took.  Unfortunately, they don't have the luxury of using that much time (and I have no faith in the FO to make the necessary changes to the minors, development sucks) because they'd get crucified by the fans.  It'd make the criticisms of Crean look like a circle of hand holding singing Kumbaya.

Yes, a lot of the fans are that bad.
