Agree JS, The Wolves wouldn't have had time to react once the parade started. Unless......the new guy is a spy for the Wolves! The guy that just showed up after being away for a while. This just occured to me! Makes total sense! He was taken in by the Wolves to spy on Alexandria. The Wolves sent him to see what was going on in Alexandria after they found those photos in the car. Once, they knew the plan, they wanted to de-bo it and over-run Alexandria before it got too strong with the new folks (Rick and the gang).

I think you are right, it was the Wolves but the spy wasn't the new guy that showed up after being away for a while. The spy is actually the girl that has been hanging around Carl! She likes to go outside the walls of Alexandria and knows what it's like to survive out on your own. I think she's the spy for the Wolves and they told her to sound the horn to destroy Alexandria. That's why she is shown crying in the previews for the next episode.

I don't think the wolves would have a spy. They would just try to overtake it instead of having zombies do it.

They show a bit of cleverness in their operations. I wouldn't put it past them to send in some recon elements to determine strengths/weaknesses of a target (Alexandria). In my opinion, when they saw the photos that were left in the car, they probably decided that it would be too risky of an operation to overtake by living force. They used the zombies to capture folks in their trap, remember? They use them as a weapon.

Recently, when E!Online asked Lauren Cohan about the Wolves, she said, “Like their name suggests, they are feral and they are heartless.” While it doesn’t really tie the group to Negan, it does suggest similar characteristic traits. “Unbelievably, they are actually humans, but there’s nothing human about their behavior, which is bad, bad news,” she followed up with.

While the wolves are certainly bad news, I'm not sure I buy that the person honking the horn is connected to them.  Depending how long it took to make the plan they may not have had time for the spy to find out then go to them and back to Alexandria; it would depend on how long it took for Rick to make his plan to clear out those walkers.

 

It could just be someone acting on their own trying to get rid of Rick and the group, or Morgan doing it trying to get the old Rick back.  Just a thought.

Yeah, and the kid that followed Rick and Morgan out to the quarry the first time is the Doc's oldest kid I believe.

That could be a very good connection.

I still don't think it's them, but who knows honestly. I think the 2nd episode will be a lot better than the 2nd. Hope no one from the group dies!

Wow what an episode!!! Not what I was expecting at all, but a phenomenal episode. I thought the lady Carol left to defend the armory was going to shoot Morgan when he walked into the house at the end. 

 

Rosie looked hot running around shooting people! loll I bet Alexandria is going to let Rick run things more.

I think that too, but the wife disagrees. To me she wouldn't survive in her own unless she's with people.

I think Rick will get everyone ready and trained, because some of them sucked at defense/shooting.

Does Morgan know something about the wolves? It seemed to me that they recognized him when they saw him.
