The Walking Dead Thread 2.0

It is on the west coast and the WD are on the East coast

So? I'm on the West Coast but if someone nuked Atlanta, I feel like I'd mention it when I'm telling the new guy about life after Death.

And if they're using nukes, it means the rest of the country isn't already totally infested and ruined otherwise there is no point. And they probably wouldn't use them against just one city. So, they'll have some form of news. I don't remember the timeline of WD enough to say something like "and even without electronics, word travels eventually"

Actually, i have no idea on what i'm talking about. However, i believe the military would use nukes in a situation like that....So, the possibility of a nuclear response is there. The WD group has been alienated except in short term instances such as terminus and the Atlanta police compound. Wait a second....think back to when they were in the CDC with that loner. He mentioned something about the different research facilities around the world but i can't remember... hmmmm something to ponder for sure.

Did we hear about any cities being nuked though in the Walking Dead? I feel like Henry or Paul would have mentioned something like that back when we first met Coral.

Also, it would be remarkably ineffective. Especially compared to something like firebombing since there is no indication radiation will negatively harm walkers and radiation is the name of the game outside the central blast zone.

I believe it was either season 1 or 2 when they were showing a flash back of Shane and Lori being stranded on the highway when they were meeting the others in the group. They showed a very large explosion in Atlanta.

Shane. That was it.

Yeah, but not a nuke. We know this because we return to Atlanta in season 5 and it exists. So, either Atlanta fell later and they'd already given up trying to contain or they didn't nuke anyone.

So maybe the military will just bomb the hell out of LA, but something big will happen Sunday in the season finale.

That was quite the season finale, started to really look like TWD we all are familiar with. I know it sounds funny, but I almost would rather keep watching FTWD, hate to see it go away. I believe I heard they're planning on another season tho, which is good.

Helluva episode though. Hope that's a sign of what this season is going to be like, instead of last seasons schedule: Great episode, 6 episodes of Gilmore Girls with the occasional zombie, good mid-season finale, two month break, a mix of good episodes and episodes of Gilmore Girls with the occasional zombie, great finale.

Sometimes they just slow things down too much. The 20-25 minutes of commercials in a 60 minute episode don't help either.

Fashionably late to the party :) Fear The Walking Dead is getting really good, and I'm very interested for the next season. Finally had our first main casualty, and I thought it was Travis when he told his mom to leave him.

TWD premier wasn't as good as I had hoped, but it was still good. They set up the next episode very nicely! Looks like Alexandria is about to get smashed had with zombies.

I really like Morgan's role this episode. He is trying to bring Rick back. Wonder if Darryl and Morgan are going to become buddies, because they are very similar in their views?

Does anyone think the Wolves are causing the honking noise causing the walkers to Alexandria? I don't, I don't think we see them just yet.

Agree JS, The Wolves wouldn't have had time to react once the parade started. Unless......the new guy is a spy for the Wolves! The guy that just showed up after being away for a while. This just occured to me! Makes total sense! He was taken in by the Wolves to spy on Alexandria. The Wolves sent him to see what was going on in Alexandria after they found those photos in the car. Once, they knew the plan, they wanted to de-bo it and over-run Alexandria before it got too strong with the new folks (Rick and the gang).
