Liked it that way too. Yes, a little more action would be nice, but I think watching the beginning of the outbreak was a different touch. It will be more interesting as we see characters added and developed. So far I can't pick out who the badass will be.

Depends on the size. If it's a full sized one it's hard to swing. A small one is easier to use and swing.

To me, a sword would be ideal. Easy to use and long enough to keep distance between the walkers. I wouldn't mind a metal bat, crack some skulls lol.
