NCAA Tournament?

Recommended Posts

.500 conference record won't cut it, and Indiana must avoid anymore bad losses. We may be close according to Lunardi, but Indiana has A LOT of work to do.

I am going to be optimistic here and say that we will make the tourney, barely, we won't be a high seed by no means but our boys might surprise all of us!!

I would almost rather see this team play in the NIT. That way they get to play 2-3 post season games instead of one. It would help get the players a little more ready for next year.

I disagree, a BIG team with a .500 record will definitely get in. Possibly even 1 team sub .500.

I don't think we played that great yesterday. If not for yogi and vonleh we don't come close to winning that game. if yogi has a bad shooting game, we get an L. Also, we only had 6 assists as a team!

I'd rather lose in the first round of the NCAA tourney than play in the NIT. Crean's job only gets harder if coaches are asking recruits why they would want to play for someone who's missed the tournament four out of six seasons.

Welcome and thanks for your in put. I get what you are saying, but I would rather be in the tournament. Let our young guys feel the big stage, and be ready for next year. Either way, hoping Vonleh stays, we will be darn good next season!!!

Thank you! If Vonleh leaves we are in trouble

Scary to think Hanner and Davis would be all that we have. Maybe CTC can start looking for JuCo players

You can check out our recruiting page for basketball. It has different recruiting years. Coach is after a few bigs and a good SF in 2014. We have some awesome people that do recruiting!

He's after a few project bigs, because apparently his track record with them isn't bad enough as it is.

Honestly, at the point, I think Crean just wants someone that's tall and can catch the ball.

In other words, he's throwing crap against the wall hoping it sticks.  Not a good game plan.  I'd prefer he go JUCO or graduate transfer, not a 4 year project that could be another JobeBawaJurkin.

Even with his offense completely ignoring a talented big, he needs a big the defense has to respect.  Otherwise it opens up another mess of problems like before we got Zeller.

Aside from Noah, that would be an improvement.

If a lot of the targets are actually "fundamentally sound" like I've seen, I'll be okay with landing one of them.
