If the starters aren't clicking why are we playing walk-ons?  There isn't a fan thinking Johnny Marlin plays more than 10 total minutes in B1G play.  Shouldn't we be getting our "core" going?

Is that Marlin?

Yup. He's been OK since he's been in. I don't know if Coach is setting an example or he's gonna try to break the most players in a game record.

To be honest, the offense has been under control and there hasn't been the need to beat the clock since Marlin entered.

why is fire hot? why is water wet? It's Tom Crean's substitutions, who knows what he is thinking.

If your "core" is playing like that we might as well put somebody else in.

I hear ya, but the B1G is less than 2 games away.  Once conference starts, there won't be any more of these "confidence" games.

Crean might, although there's times I'm not sure even he knows what he's doing with his subs.

I seriously think he over thinks things way too much at times.  It would be nice if we would simplify things for these kids.

I honestly think some of these guys would learn more from a little pine time.

I personally think as young as they are, they will have to find it on the court.  If it was a veteran team, I agree with your thought there.
