So name the Mecca of College Basketball after what I presume is a big-time donor?!?!?  Wow...what's next, the football team hires a the guy who won the XFL Championship?!?!  Oh wait.....

I would have rather them rename it like Circuit City Hall or something like that.  Someone deserves to be kicked in the nuts if this is true.  I am glad the dude has money, but come on.

Assembly Hall will be renamed the Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall after alumn Cindy Simon Skjodt gave a $40 mill gift. Story to come.

I could care less. Everyone will still call it Assembly Hall. At least that part stayed with the name.

im not even quite sure how to pronounce that last name, but im just glad they kept assembly hall part. Regardless if they named it something else true fans will still call it Assembly Hall.
